Dialektika

The term “dialectic” derives from Greek dialektikē (τέχνη τῆς διαλέκτου) related to the verb dialegesthai (to converse or argue). Its semantic development passed through classical philosophical traditions and into Latin and modern European languages (e. G. , German “Dialektik”, Dutch “dialectiek”) before entering Indonesian. In modern intellectual history the concept was elaborated by “Hegel”, emphasizing the thesis-antithesis-synthesis process, and later adapted by “Marx” and Engels into materialist dialectics linking social-economic contradictions with historical change. Culturally, the term is commonly used in philosophy, social theory, academic rhetoric, and intellectual debate. In non-academic usage it is often approximated as critical thinking or a discussion aimed at finding common ground.
