Privacy Policy
At ibahasa, where we test AI on Indonesian and build a living dictionary of it, we value your trust and comply with Indonesia's Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP). This policy explains how we collect and protect your data.
1. Data We Collect
- Battle AI Votes: Which response you preferred (or tie), a browser fingerprint and IP address to prevent duplicate voting, and how long you took to decide.
- Account Info: Username and email for authentication.
- Dictionary Activity: Words, definitions, and examples you submit are public, and your voting history is used to calculate word rankings.
2. How We Use Data
We use your data primarily for research: tallying Battle AI results to measure how well AI models understand Indonesian. It is also used to maintain the integrity of the dictionary, prevent spam, and attribute contributions to the correct authors (you). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Public Visibility
Your username and dictionary contributions are visible to the public, and aggregate Battle AI results (model rankings) are published openly as part of our research.
4. Your Rights (UU PDP)
Under UU PDP, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent for your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us.
5. Data Location
Our servers are located abroad (e.g., Singapore/Europe/USA) to provide global performance. By using ibahasa, you acknowledge and consent to this cross-border transfer.
